At Smart Gift Ideas, we want you to love your purchase! If for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, we’ve made our returns process as simple and stress-free as possible.

 

Gifting Items Returns

We understand that sometimes gifts don’t hit the mark, and that’s okay! Here’s how we can help:

1. Change of Mind:

If you change your mind about a gift, you can return it within 7 days of receiving your order. Simply ensure the item is in its original, unused condition with all packaging intact.

 

2. Faulty or Damaged Items:

We pride ourselves on quality, but if your item arrives damaged or faulty, we’ll make it right. Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, including photos and a brief description of the issue, and we’ll organise a replacement, refund or credit.

 

3. How to Return an Item:

In the unlikely event your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, (but hey, we're human so it can happen!) we’ll make it right - including covering the cost of return shipping.

We totally get that sometimes you won't be in love with your gifts but for change of mind returns, return postage will be at your own cost. We’ll let you know the return address and any extra info when you get in touch.

 

4. Refund or Exchange:

Once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, we’ll process a refund, exchange, or apply a credit to your account for future orders (depending on your preference) within 7 days.

Please note: Refunds are processed via direct bank transfer, and you will need to provide your bank details for this.

 

Year 6 Leaver Shirts Returns

We know how special these shirts are, so we aim to make any returns as smooth as possible:

1. Personalised Shirts:

Since these shirts are custom-made with your school’s name and details, personalised items cannot be returned unless there is a defect or error on our part.

 

2. Faulty or Incorrect Shirts:

In the unlikely event that your shirt arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days with photos and details. We’ll send a replacement as quickly as possible or offer a refund if you prefer.

 

3. How to Return a Shirt:

In the rare event that we need you to return a shirt, simply email us at info@smartgiftideas.com.au to arrange the return, and we’ll provide you with the next steps.

 

General Information

1. Shipping Costs:

  • For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • For faulty or incorrect items, if we require you to return the gift(s) or shirt(s), we’ll cover all return shipping costs.

 

2. Processing Time:

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll aim to process your refund or exchange within 7 days.
